Yii Log Email Target version 4.2.0 was released. In this version:

• Change PHP constraint in composer.json to 8.1 - 8.5
• Raise the minimum yiisoft/mailer version to ^6.0 and adapt the code accordingly
• Explicitly import classes in "use" section

Yii Logging Library version 2.2.0 was released. In this version:

• Add optional $levels parameter to Target constructor allowing log level filtering at instantiation
• Add ext-psr to conflict section in composer.json

All targets were updated as well to allow $levels in constructor. Additionally:

• File Target 3.1.0 added categories, except and exportInterval setters to default config and replaced rotate by rename to rotate by copy.
• Syslog Target 2.1.0 removed dead code that checked case when syslog() returned false.

Yii Logging Library package was updated with the following enhancements and new features:

• added new static methods Logger::assertLevelIsValid(), Logger::assertLevelIsString() and Logger::assertLevelIsSupported();
• added support of nested values in message templates' variables, e. g. {foo.bar};
• added context providers;
• added DateTime and DateTimeImmutable support as time in log context;

First stable version of Yii Logging Library - DB Target was tagged.

This package provides the database target for the yiisoft/log.

It allows you to write logs into databases suppoerted by yiisoft/db: MariaDB, MSSQL, MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, and SQLite.

Several log target packages got a major releases.

Yii Logging Email Target 4.0

Configuration group names adapted to Yii convention and make a few improvements:

First stable version of yiisoft/yii-sentry package was released. The package provides integration with Sentry log aggregation service or a compatible one (so far, there's GlitchTip).
