We are happy to announce the release of the first official stable version of the Yii 2 Queue Extension. Roman Zhuravlev took care of rewriting and polishing the queue extension after core team and community made initial prototypes. His work had been released as a zhuravlev/yii2-queue package before and proved to be of good quality. Together we've decided to move the package under the yiisoft organization so it gets more attention and support. Roman agreed to maintain it further together with current Yii team.

It adds support for scalar global variables, unifies path() and url() syntax to match Url::to() and makes package more flexible by using DI container to instantiating extensions.
